Spirograph Ring 150 — All 18 Wheel Combinations

At 150 teeth, this is the largest ring in the Deluxe set — and thanks to its factorization, 150 = 2 × 3 × 5², it's the five-fold specialist. That square of 5 puts fives everywhere in its petal menu: 5, 10, 15, 25, 50, and 75 all appear, alongside a few small counts (2, 3), for a distinctly floral, star-of-Bethlehem character. With only a single factor of 2, ring 150 also behaves almost like an odd ring: most of its combinations produce odd petal counts, second only to ring 105.

Petals = 150 ÷ gcd(150, wheel). Four different wheels — 32, 52, 56, and 64 — share only a factor of 2 with 150, and each draws the ring's masterpiece: 75 petals, taking up to 32 rotations to close (150/56 needs 28; 150/64 needs 32, the longest single drawing in the entire set — 4,200 teeth of rolling before the pen comes home). For quicker gratification, wheels 24, 36, 42, 48, 72, and 84 all land on 25-petal patterns, and wheel 40 gives a bold 15-petal flower in 4 rotations. The oddities at the bottom: wheel 50 slots into 150 three times exactly for a wide 3-petal triangle, and wheel 75 — half the ring precisely — closes with 2 petals in one lap.

Being the biggest ring, 150 draws the largest patterns at any pen setting, which makes it the go-to outer frame for multi-ring compositions and the best canvas for high pen positions (90–100%) where petals grow long and sharp. Its five-fold counts also pair beautifully with print projects — a 25-petal pattern divides a page's border into neat five-way symmetry.
