It's the largest ring most classic sets include a full wheel range for, and its double dose of 3s gives it petal counts no other ring can make — 9, 18, and 36 all come naturally here, along with the widest overall menu in the set: 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 16, 18, 24, 36, 48, and 72 petals across the eighteen wheels.

As always, petals = 144 ÷ gcd(144, wheel). Wheel 50 is the champion — it shares only a factor of 2 with 144, producing a dense 72-petal web over 25 rotations, the second-finest pattern in the whole set. Wheel 75 (gcd 3) follows with 48 petals, and wheel 52 (gcd 4) gives a lovely 36-petal rosette in 13 rotations. The nine-fold family is this ring's signature: wheels 32, 64, and 80 each land on gcd 16 and draw 9-petal patterns — a triangular-feeling symmetry you can't get from ring 96 or 150 at all.
